We hosted a princess party at our house this year for Jade and her friends. Jade had such a tough time with the fact that she was only allowed to invite 11 friends to her party. Her initial list was over 2 dozen names long!
Justice and Jade in their princess gowns! Each guest was asked to wear their finest dress-up attire.
Jade had extra dresses on hand also in case any of her friends needed one to wear!
After decorating tiaras, the girls ate while we read "Princess and the Pea" to prepare them for the first game!
We did our own princess test - two pillows were placed on the ground, and each of the girls took a turn sitting on them to determine where I hid the pea (a green ball).
All of our guests were "real" princesses!
The princesses were divided into two teams for the next game, where they took turns acting out a mythical person or animal for the other team to guess.
There were fairies, witches, unicorns, and dragons! The girls were very creative and had a lot of fun with it.
In our last game, each of our two teams sat in a circle for "Prince Pass" - a variation of hot potato where the girls passed a beanbag frog prince!
When the music stopped, whoever passed the prince last stood up and sat in the other circle for the next round.
Jade had so much fun at her party, thanks to all the beautiful princesses who attended! We hope you had fun too!
